1932年，lTobias对肺尖癌命名为胸顶部肋骨椎体综合征，l同年Pancoast发表了经典著作，l并被命名为Pancoast综合征。其特点是肩部和上肢尺神经分布区持续性疼痛、i交感神经结受累所致的1Homer综合征，lX线所见为胸顶部肿块及肋骨和椎体破坏，l即所谓肺上沟癌。
